1 The Club
1.1 The Club will be known as the Bracknell Forest Gamers (B.F.G.)
1.2 The Club will be owned and run by
the Committee of Bracknell Forest Gamers
1.3 Bracknell Forest Gamers is a not
for profit organisation owned by the committee whose rights are due to their
responsibilities within the club.
1.4 The Club will endeavour to
provide an area for members to meet at:
1.5 The club purpose is to provide the opportunity
for members to participate in the hobby of collecting, painting and gaming of
miniatures and game systems.

Club Members
2.1 Any
eligible person (4.2) is entitled to apply for membership.
2.2
Membership is for a period up to the 31st of December of each year,
after which members are required to renew their membership, with the appropriate
fee if applicable.
3 Standard of Behaviour
3.1 All
Attendees of the Club, guests or Members, will be required to abide by the
Club’s Code of Practice.
3.2 It is the
responsibility of all members to make guests aware of the Club’s Code of
Practice
3.3 Those
attending a club meeting are required to treat all guests and members with
respect and to refrain from any abusive, obscene or violent language and/or
behaviour.
3.4 Attendees
of the club will not interfere or tamper with another attendee’s properties,
equipment or person, or cause damage through neglect or intent to any other
either directly or indirectly.
3.5 Committee Members in attendance may by
majority agree to ask any attendee(s), failing to
comply with the rules of the club, and especially item 3.3, to leave the club
premises
3.6 Any Committee
Member in breach of the Club’s Code of Practice may be asked to step down from
the committee
3.7 Breaking
or violating the Club’s Code of Practice, will be dealt with by a Committee
Member as follows:

3.7.1 Minor first offence: - A
verbal warning will be given in private
§
3.7.2 A repeat of a minor
offence may result in a punitive fiscal fine as defined by the committee
§
3.7.3 Serious or repeated
offence: - A written warning will be given by the committee.

3.7.4 Second written
warning:- Removal of club membership
§
3.7.5 Gross act of misconduct: - A fixed term ban will be issued by the
committee.

3.7.6 Allegation of a serious criminal offence,
- Automatic suspension of membership until any legal proceedings are concluded.
# any expired ban may be
reinstated after a majority vote of all Committee members to remove census.
## Copies and
record of all actions will be placed within the clubs records. Any member may
lodge an appeal to any action with any committee member.
4 Meetings
4.1 The Club
will endeavour to provide an area for members to meet, which will be open to
the public, to make use of the clubs facilities upon payment of a cover charge.
The club reserve the right to refuse admission where
it sees fit in accordance to the club constitution.
4.2 Guest
must be 14 years of age or over to become members, though guest of 12 years of
age and above many attend if accompanied by an adult
4.3 A
Committee Member will record club attendance in a register along with
collection of any fees due.
4.4 At least
two Committee Members will be at any authorised club meeting
4.5 At least
one Committee Member will be designated as the official first contact.
The first contact
will be responsible to contact any emergency authorities or if qualified to
offer first aid in the event of an emergency.
4.6 No
attendee
under 16 years of
age, will be left on the premises unless accompanied by at lest 2 adults over
18 years of age.
4.7 A guest’s
first attendance at the club will not incur any cover or entrance fee, any
exception will be resolved at the committee discretion.
4.8 A guest must be signed
in and accompanied at by a fully paid up
eligible member who will be responsible for their conduct at all club
procedings.
4.9 A member under the age
of 18 may sign in up to one guest, those 18 or over may sign in two
guests.
4.9.1
All guests must abide by the club rules
4.9.2 An Eligible club
member is one who is 14 years of age and above and be fully paid up with no
club sanctions or arrears.
5 Committee
5.1 The Committee will be
elected from nominated club members.
5.2 Committee
Members must be club members who are over the age of 18, and not under club
censure.
5.3 The Committee wil comprise of The Chair of the Committee,
The Scribe of the Committee and the Paymaster of the Committee.
The Committee will nominate extra posts for to run at their
discresion.
5.4 The
committee is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the club and
will endeavour to do all that is required of them, and any other duties that
they volunteer themselves for.
5.5
Any vacant position, will be filled by elections called by the committee, not
less than one calendar month from opening
5.6 The Committee reserves the right to nominate designated club
members as required to assist in the running of the club.
5.7 The Committee shall have the authority to make any alterations to the
constitution, provided that a Unanimous vote is carried by all committee
members. All alteration shall be proposed in writing, and given to the Scribe of the committee, for distribution among the committee, at least one
calendar month before the Annual General Meeting
(Item
7).
5.8 The Committee by a unanimous decision may decide at any
time that on the grounds of expense or other necessity that the
club be dissolved and relevant undertaking adhered to, and dispose of any outstanding fees and assets.
5.9 Committee
Members have the right to promote and raise funds for and on behalf of the club
and to engage in tentative communications for and on behalf of the club with the
approval of the Chair.
5.10 A quorum
of not less than three Committee Members may request the Scribe to call an
extraordinary general meeting in addition to any meeting already scheduled
5.11 The
Chair has the right to Veto, with the support of one other Committee Members,
any amendments to the running of the club and its constitution
